The morning’s dawning
The sun is coming
All I want
Is to be running
The wind in my face
The grass at my feet
The air today smells so sweet

The rain is here
My thoughts are clear
Who do you see
When you look in the mirror
I see someone special
Someone unique
Someone who’s not afraid to look weak

The sun is leaving
So am I
It’s no longer in the sky
Down under the mountains it has gone
But we won’t have to wait too long
To see it come again

The light has gone
The night is here
I love the dark
I have no fear
The stars are bright
The moon does glow
Then everything will go to show
The wonders of our God
