Freedom-July 4th Poem-WON CONTEST FEATURED POET & POEM ALL WEEK 2005
"FREEDOM RED, WHITE, BLUE"

"My Eagle Takes Flight And My Flag Ever Waves High"

"America Walked From Darkness Into God’s Light"

Freedom my heritage America my home.

July fourth is fun hearing fireworks ring.

I see the marine blue sea white with foam.

My mind takes off in wings.

I know I am never all alone.

My heart ever sings much music lilting.

I feel safe in my own home.

I relax while my pure white muse is drifting.

The source of my happiness is well known.

My love for America is befitting.

If I roam, to my red, white, blue country I will be returning.

Freedom within, freedom all about, freedom without fear is shown.

My eyes always see freedom as the golden sun shining.
