Losing a Friend

This is my first poem please tell me what you think!

Losing a Friend

As a friend moves away, you start to lose touch
as you both go your separate ways.

At first you try to keep in touch by calling or
sending each other letters. But after a while there’s hardly
any calls or letters because neither of you know what to say.

As you gain new friends you will always have a void
From where you had a special place in your heart from where
you will always remember your friends that have gone away.
