Does Anyone Know?

feeling of a teen in life when they are lost

they say it’s just noise
they say it’s depressing
they just don’t get it
we go through more then they know
they don’t understand that we can’t talk
their advise doesn’t work
it just makes things worse

who do we go to?
dose anyone know how to fix our problems
and not make them worse
what do we do when we’re lost and alone
does anyone know?

Our noise as they call it
it’s what keeps us movin
this music expresses how we feel
it’s our way to forget all the things
we face, it’s our secret place
where no one can hurt or put us down
it is where we are safe and secure

depressing they say
well have you seen the news today?
kids with guns at school
shooting people at will,
people missing, gone without a trace,
suicides, that’s depressing
that is what we live with
friends crying, dying, running

our music is nothing
it’s just what we go through
the times have changed
it’s just gotten worse
you don’t understand
