Coping with the new you

I decided to visit a place of darkness
A void of twinkling lights
Floating pieces of mass
Occupies this place
I was only there a day or two. I think...
On my returning to earth I found changes
People no longer know me
Or understand me, or see me
All promises were broken
They didn't wait on me
The world continue to turns
Whether I like it or not
Whether I'm on it or not

Don't ignore me

I've looked in the mirror
I look the same
