Gold Mining. The Double Standard.

Why is it? There is a difference.

Gold Mining. The Double Standard.

My hubby digs in the ground,
to find tiny flakes of gold.
which doesn't seem like very much,
except, he's gettin' old.

But, just like anything else, you know,
double standards do apply.
I've tried to make some sense of this,
I really don't know why.

They say a man is a gold miner,
which makes him seem much bigger,
but as you know, on the other hand,
a lady is just a gold digger.

I fixed him, He digs, and I get the gold!
