Lady On My Mind

Love poem written when I was 17.

Lately in my life,
I've been on cloud nine.
Lately in my life,
there's a Lady been on my mind.

Do you wonder why I'm so happy?
C'mon, sit down a while.
Let me tell you 'bout the girl
who's made my heart smile.

I love to stare into
her beautiful green eyes.
I love to run my fingers through her hair.
I love to hold her near.
She is so dear.. to me.

I hope this wonderful girl knows
she is all the world to me.
I hope that I will find
a lifetime full of all the joys she brings.
With the Lady on my mind.

Ther's a lady on my mind.
I think of her all the time.
When we're apart I miss
her tender kiss.
I'm in love with the Lady on my mind.
