Author's Note: As I suppose is typical, I was introduced to the Bard in 9th Grade with Romeo & Juliet and we watched the Franco film from 1968. I fell in love with love back then. The idea of Star Crossed love really tugged at my emotions.

Kiss Me Kate came a bit a later, though I played the soundtrack to the 1953 movie often as a kid in the 1970's on my record player, I didn't see the film until much later in my 20's.
