My husband is facing major medical issues at this time so no poetry, no blog. Any and all prayers welcomed. I feel we have been traumatized by the medical industrial complex. He is in a rehab facility now and hoping for improvement. Don't get old in Amerikkka, Don't get sick in Amerikkka. |
If I Were A Snowflake If I were a snowflake I would be melted into water without a quaver with no wish to linger as solid. Eaglets for Epiphany I am on egg watch. M15 and his Lady, paired eagles are nesting now. Their ancestors birthed in this same space for generations. Heretic Coffee His (trump) greed is infinite and cruelty is the point, injustice is raison d'etre. Can our words, faith, ideas, and strength defeat him and help us escape this plague? Halloween Yes, the leaves fell faster thaen I imagined but it is October after all. Sometimes you need broken magick: a nest of fog a ghost cat drag queen pumpkins. Into the Woods I went deep into the woods today, further than I have ever been. I flung away the ridiculously heavy, sweaty red velvet hooded cloak. I stood naked as Eve before Jehovah told her it was shameful. I had forgotten the bliss of my own skin. I began to roar, nay HOWL. I felt prickles on my scalp. The mother wolves joined my chorus.
