A look at the aspirations me, myself, and I have for the coming year. |
| Dear me, This feels like making resolutions. We agreed this year that making resolutions was just setting us up for failure. They are good intentions with no follow through. Finding ways that we can use the potential of starting fresh combined with some accountability to outside influences sounds more than doable. We are working towards some solid, attainable things that will improve upon aspects of our life that are important to us. We have taken steps to renew our commitment to writing. We have entered a challenge that will require us to write 52 short stories this year. "The Bradbury" will have us writing alongside other Writing.com members. It is not a race, simply a challenge to see if we are up to the task. To work on our mental health and further our knowledge in psychology, I volunteered us to be an assistant in a depression and anxiety group on Writing.com. We are also going to look into attending groups at Community Mental Health. We also hope to return to Blue Water Clubhouse on a regular basis. There has been one negative in our life that needs to be addressed. We have learned the hard way that we are worse than terrible when it comes to handling our finances. I am making arrangements for us to meet with a potential payee. We know that it is going to be hard, but it is a necessary step we must take. There are other things that we are doing to improve our life, like renovating and upgrading the bedroom, that have been positive steps toward the future. May we approach all these things and more with positive vibes and determination to see it through. Remember: I am with you all the way. Blessed Be. word count 293 |
