The three phrases of Nahum 1:7, KJV have been rendered as iambic tetrameter in tercet form

"The Lord is good" forevermore.
His Holiness, th'unending store,
His Mercy need we all implore.

"This stronghold in our troublous day"
protects from all that cause dismay.
"Bequeath us, please, from th'Word You say."

"He knoweth them, that trust in Him."
The opposite is truly grim.
The good in us, not even slim.
