Entry for Dialog 500, February 2026

"I hear your heartbeat."

"I feel yours."

"Do you feel how much I love you?"

"I feel your love?"

"Do you feel my heart beating for you alone?"

"Douglas, what are you getting at? I know you love me."

"Daphne, did you know how much I loved you when you went to lunch with Peter?"

"It was a business lunch! I know you love me. I love you tool"

"You love me? Why do you spend Thursday evenings with Victor?"

"He's a friend, we work late on Thursdays so I can have all of Friday off to be with you."

"He doesn't love you like I do. He wouldn't do the things for you that I am willing to do. I moved across so many lines to be with you. Time, space, mortality, all of them I have shunned. I love you and always have, I always will."

"You're scaring me now."

"I had one year to prove your love was as strong as mine, for you to give me your heart. All I can think is that in our time together I have yet to truly give you mine."

"Close your shirt! We're in public. Where did those claws come from?"

"I had to sacrifice my humanity to be with you. Now I sacrifice my heart!"

"Oh, my god! You're literally handing me your heart!"

"Yes. Now give me yours!"
