Write about giving, or receiving, a very appropriate book for "book giving day".

Little Black Book

Roses and chocolates, sweet golden bling,
For the one that I need, who makes my heart sing,
Planned it all perfectly, this Valentine's eve,
We're better together I have to believe.

But your "thanks for the flowers" was cutting, at best,
Your "fine" was so sharp, I thought it a test,
So I'm down on one knee, and ready for more,
My heart skipped a beat when that book hit the floor.

Your fists ball in anger, your eyes spitting rage,
At little blue Roses, pressed to each page
of names, dates and places, and scores in a range,
At my secrets laid bare, of a past I can't change.

Yeah, your sister was better, in some certain ways,
I don't know why you're angry, it's not like I strayed!
You knew there were others, they're all in the past,
You can put your objections, straight up your...

Oh, now you are crying. I guess it's my fault?
That you read these words, knowing you ought
mind your own business, not pry in the dark,
You snooping witch... Ow! That left a mark!

Yeah, yeah, I'm leaving, I'm outta the door,
Maybe your sister will be up for some more
fun loving times, now I'm off the hook,
I'm ready to strike you from my little black book.
