A pen in the right place

been a year now in WDC, I like it here, so i'm putting that into words

Alright now, where should i begin?
this won't be another poem (sadly) but it should be an interesting read.

When i joined here a year ago i was bored. simply bored.
you know that feeling when you've done everything on your list for like the next year and you can think of nothing left to do? yep that was me.
as i said in my bio, sharing my writings is not my idea in the first place. i didn't see meaning in sharing them for many reasons, most notably the fact that i used to share them in the wrong places which in turn made them seem worthless and as result: it drained me a lot.
however i was really curious, since it was my first year long vacation in such a long time, about what would happen if i dedicate this spare time to writing and posting somewhere in which people are actually interested to read stuff.
so i took to browsing for sites and communities and WDC popped up, as a nice place to try.
and to be honest, there was something magical about that first email i got, like an actual review instead of the usual "nice " or "why are you even writing this?".
and as i wrote, more reviews got in, which in turn made me write even more. was it to improve? not really, just was happy to see someone read and like what i wrote. and on the occasion they don't like it it didn't bother me as long as it came with a review.
fast forward and i got a free upgraded membership(which by the way, thank you a LOT for that) which in turn made me write more relaxed instead of worrying about item limit and all.
and during that time i was really amazed to see how writing turned out to be a good stress relief method when reviewed. and even when it got 0 reviews it didn't matter much since writing itself was the point, like emptying my mind through words.
nothing special? because this i know this is normal stuff till now XD, sorry if you got scammed into reading this after i said "should be an interesting read" but hey: thank you for the read anyway.
so, what is next? since it's been some time since i posted something, and since returning to univ to finish engineering my time is a filled mess.
still, i do plan on posting almost as regularly as before(gotta make use of what is left of that membership XD). in fact i have a special one dropping here soon to celebrate this birthday.
thank you again for the read, and thank you for the wonderful people i met here so far and i hope, should you drop by my portfolio, that you enjoy whatever you read in it.
