Art of Practicing Disagreement Policy
January 13, 2011 at 1:17pm
This year, I want to practice the art of disagreement without being disagreeable. I know this is a tough thing for me, especially with some of my family and friends. I habitually disagree with my family...I always did. Discussions on what is right or wrong or the way things are done, is not what I'm talking about. That is their business and I choose to keep my nose busy in other places. I just have a hard time having an intelligent conversation with about politics, global warming,etc.... [Read more]
Arizona Needs Your Prayers!
January 11, 2011 at 5:44pm

I pray for my Arizona!
January 9, 2011 at 8:26pm
Hi everyone, We Arizonians are not a bunch of cow people toting guns. The majority of us don't even own a gun. I'm against the gun laws here and so are a lot of other people. This horrible massacre that happened this past Saturday in Tuscon leaves most of us asking, why? Why did this have to happen to these good people? How could this twenty-two year old young man, who hasn't even lived long enough to experience life and all it has to offer, bestow his answers to soc... [Read more]
Each Day Is A Blessing!
January 7, 2011 at 3:34pm
Each day when I get out of bed, I do a body check. Let's see: My back is not too bad this AM and my breathing is pretty good today. As an asthmatic and copd person, it dictates what my day will be or what I can hope to accomplish. I usually don't whine about these things and pray that the day will be kind to me in whatever I do. I won't allow any of it to get the best of me. ... [Read more]

Family and our History
September 26, 2010 at 12:53pm
My eldest aunt, cousin and myself are the three stubborn people you do the family tree. I've had been searching for years regarding our family tree. I let it go for awhile, but when my relatives came in from California and Washington, we traded pictures, facts and stories. It was a lot of fun and it uncovered my interest again. By the way, this 85-year old aunt is my mother's youngest sister and only living sister of a family of eleven. Yes, they were all of the same mother and fa... [Read more]
Family Reunion
September 19, 2010 at 12:27am
I have lots of memories from this past two weeks. I am tired, exhausted, but very happy to share some memories with you. My family is a little eccentric, to say the least. Some stayed at a Hampton Inn, while others were stacked up on air mattresses, at one house or another. Everyone came, including my 85 year-old auntie Shirley. She is the youngest of eleven children and the last one remaining, on my mother's side. She played semi-pro tennis for many years and still drinks two martini... [Read more]
