Dream Catchers An ancient Chippewa tradition The dream net has been made For many generations Where spirit dreams have played. Hung above the cradle board, Or in the lodge up high, The dream net catches bad dreams, While the good dreams slip on by. Bad dreams become entangled Among the sinew thread. Good dreams slip through the center hole, While you dream upon your bed. This is an ancient legend, Since dreams will never cease, Hang this dream net above your bed, Dream on, an be at peace. |
DAY 1239: April 6, 2016 Prompt: "Your sacred space is where you can find yourself again and again." Joseph Campbell Where is your sacred space? My Sacred Space {/cMy sacred space is my bedroom. Though I live with five little guys, well I should say four little guys and one little gal, they are all terrier-mix, rescued dogs. It is a quiet place where I can think, read, give birth to characters, write (invent), watch t.v., and just relive my memories. Believe me when I say, my little guys know how sacred it is me they won't let anyone in. Kristina |
