A poem written when I was bored, & while I was listening to music
I'm bored so I do the only thing I know how.
A way to cause the boredom to drown.
I listen to music, a way to block out the dull.

Music opens a gateway to imagination.
It's a million-way train station,
To places only known to you.
Places that only you could've conjured.

Music lets us forget the dullness of reality.
Lets us relax less quietly.
Wraps us with its notes,
And makes us float.
