The following is a series of editorial opinions and other nonfiction political satire pieces. I enjoy writing about Political satire in a supposedly Democratic nation in which everyone has a voice, but few of those voices are heard, except during election year where politicians start running for office, and touting the votes of their constituents to win the election. However, win or lose, following the election, the average citizen means nothing to either the savvy or, as the case may be, not so savvy politician. its back to the business of making laws and sacrificing the lives of our young men and women in worthless wars on distant shored. I include Religious Satire in this collection, because few people realize or even care that early colonists, in an attempt to supposedly escape religious tyranny, carried it aboard tall ships safely packed within their religious hearts, and sailed across the pond to the shores of the New World bringing it with them. |
