Ven and Ricca are wandering energy forms, beings from another world with nomadic souls that survive after the death of their bodies to be reborn into new ones. For decades, they've been wandering from place to place, searching for their lost friends, and for the great evil that destroyed their homeworld. Now, on the human world Gaea, they find Ricca's brother Cade, who is suffering from amnesia and leading a small but powerful resistance group whose goal is to end the enslavement of energy forms. What at first seems to be a cruel trend started by a would-be dictator turns out to be something much darker: the hand of the Prince of Darkness is clearly at work. Can Ven and Ricca stop the curse of the Unholy Sword from spreading and foil the evil Dominic's rise to power? Or is this the beginning of the end for Gaea? |
