October Novel Prep Challenge

My comment was addressed solely to the power our words have over what we accomplish or do not accomplish. I too love the calendar, but was not the subject of my comment. I honed in on the comment that Crys would fizzle without support. And that does no service to her or who she is as a writer. We rise to the bar that we set for ourselves. And we push that bar higher up when we support each other, whether we are in NaNo or not. Am I a better writer with the entire community support? Absolutely. Am I going to stop writing if I don't get that support? No. Do my words define who I am? Absolutely. That's the power in communication and the word. And I get to define who I am to you and you get to hold me to account to be my word.
