If it takes a long time to write/edit a chapter, perhaps your session is timing out. Other than that, StoryMaster has made these two recent posts to similar reports: "Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sharing Restricted notice" by The StoryMaster (in reference to the initial post of this thread) The message comes up for guests (not-logged in visitors to the interactives) usually around peak use times and on a regular basis - typically at least a few hours every day. We don't allow the server loads to build past a certain level before disabling interactives for non-members, which includes any bots and search engines. Aside form that, it is a log in only message... so for whatever reason, the server wasn't able to see the member's session as current. "Re: Getting ripped off" by The StoryMaster Be sure you're browser is accepting cookies from Writing.Com. Also, be sure that the time and date are set correctly on your computer as that can prematurely expire the cookie which tags you as logged in. You can try clearing your cache and restarting your browser to see if that helps. You can also try logging out and then logging back in again. The standard first response suggestions for when something is weird: 1. Clear browser cache. Shut down all browser windows. Reboot the browser. 2. Make sure your browser is up to date. 3. Try another browser. 4. Reboot your computer. Hope that helps. Northernwrites___ ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ ~~Image #603504 Sharing Restricted~~ |
