I did miss the interactive post, but best guess is that error is entirely unrelated. The message comes up for guests (not-logged in visitors to the interactives) usually around peak use times and on a regular basis - typically at least a few hours every day. We don't allow the server loads to build past a certain level before disabling interactives for non-members, which includes any bots and search engines.

Aside form that, it is a log in only message... so for whatever reason, the server wasn't able to see the member's session as current.

, and it was showing the standard "image sharing restricted" notice as a default in lieu of a more specific error message.

... I would expect some sort of unavailable message before a restricted message. A restricted message would come if the system couldn't determine the ownership based on what was being viewed, such as who sent an email. Given that, anonymous could certainly have been or be a place where this could crop up as a bug.
