Summary of this DVD...
This is the final film of the Night At The Museum trilogy, and I must say that, even though I was looking forward to watching it and meeting back up with some favorite characters, I was let down. Yes, there were some good parts, but would I spend $15 to buy the CD? No, I wouldn't. Here's why:

The plot was very fuzzy throughout the whole movie. It got off to a slow start and just didn't pick up. I laughed a bit and was sad at the end, but it didn't pluck at my emotions any more than that, and left me feeling flat. It also seemed as if the makers jumbled together their favorite parts from the other two movies and thought everyone would love it. Concepts just came and went without getting expanded or fully integrated into the movie. They felt as if they were just thrown in for no reason.

I had such high hopes for this movie. It's a shame it turned out the way it did because I truly feel it could have been done better.
I didn't like...
How there seemed to be no cohesiveness in the plot. Yes the SPOILER ALERT! tablet was dying out, but I felt like that got pushed aside. It didn't feel as important as a main plot should. I wasn't feeling "Oh, I hope they fix the tablet in time!" I was thinking more like "Oh, yeah, the tablet. huh, I wonder if they'll fix it in time." The ending was also very anticlimactic. It got resolved in a way that didn't make much sense, and I felt like there were still a few loose strings as if they were in a rush to end it.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Nothing really. I felt pretty neutral afterwards. Nothing was pulling at me to watch it again, but I wasn't totally disgusted, just well... disappointed.
The cast of this DVD...
Was well done overall, but it just bugs me when a different actor is brought in to play the role of someone from a previous movie which was done, in this case, for Nicky. The guy was a good actor, but that's just one of my pet peeves - you envision the character one way and then they change on you. *Rolleyes* *sigh*
