A Christmas short story. Word Count: 146
It was 7 in the morning and Sam was dressed for a cold day. As she left the airport, she saw the street was covered in Christmas decorations.

Sam hated Christmas. So many people loved it, but to her it was the last day she heard how her parents loved her.

She drove to the store and knew what she wanted. The steaks she wanted were on a Christmas discount, her annoyance grew.

Sam hated Christmas. So many people ate to their hearts content, the only joy she got was how much food would be thrown out for her to eat.

After paying, she drove to her secret place and picked up the presents she bought a month prior. She got back home at 8 to find Amber and Dorian were awake, so she gave them their presents.

Sam hated Christmas, but she loved her family more.
