A young man desires to serve his country during world war two.Having been raised in a religious family he enlists.Upon arriving at the training camp, he is asked to train with a weapon which he refuses due to his belief that courage is his weapon. The military casts him aside and only when an order from a high ranking officer is received, stating he may serve as a conscientious objector is he reinstated. Serving as a medic he saves over seventy men by marching into a war zone multiple times unarmed. His faith and courage saved him and those in his unit.

Historians, people who enjoy stories based on true events. This movie does contain graphic imagery.

The story about a hero who's weapon was his faith. The cinematography was brilliant as was the cast.

To watch the documentary about the soldier of which this story is based on.

Thankful for having a strong faith.For the many blessings, I have in my life despite difficulties.

The perfect cast. I don't think one can say that about many movies but they conveyed this story in such a way it felt as though you knew these men and women personally.

Everyone deserves to watch an inspiring story and an absolute masterpiece piece of cinema.

This film has moved onto my list of all-time favorite movies.
