Well time is running out for today (In England) and I need to post on the Newsfeed! (You MB chasers know what I mean *Pthb*). I've not been on WDC that much this weekend as have been meeting old friends and family. I've been on a lot more this year though than recent years, probably because of the new badges, and having a dragon! One of the great things about this site though, apart from the community and all, is having that Portfolio of all your writing, I'm always logging on to pull up poems and writings to quote to friends and people I meet. Anyway that is my thought for the day, I hope everyone is well and good *Smile*

Me! Had to travel for totality. Absolutely worth any trip.
I was in the path of totality. It was pretty cool. Interesting thing happened during the eclipse. Right as everything became dark, the neighborhood dogs all began barking wildly. As soon as the sun began to come back, the world went eerily quiet. It was a wild experience.
It sounds amazing. On TV they were saying the seagulls were making a load of noise, I think it was Lake Erie. Would have loved to see it in real life! A bit too far to travel though for me - although I know some people from my Astronomy Group who did go over!

Adherennium Dr of Phoolishness - Yes I can appreciate that it is not such a great time for those people who are getting up really early *Sad*. I don't really have to get up before 7am so I like the lighter evenings.
Schnujo is Late to Lannister - No it is different to US daylight savings for some reason which I think happens earlier in the year....
Yes, I think US daylight savings was maybe 3 weeks ago?

Also, someone else told me the Falklands stopped changing about 10 yrs ago. IDK who is right, but thought I'd mention it just so folks know not to take the 4-5 yrs as gospel. *Wink*
Interesting, I have just discovered that posting a message in someone's notebook counts as posting on the Newsfeed for the purpose of the 7 day streak - not sure if everyone else knew this!
