A bit of silliness with cow rhymes.
The brown cow said to the black cow,
“The poor mule has a big field to plow,
while we just stand around all day. Wow,
how did we ever get to be so lucky anyhow?”

The cat sitting nearby let out a loud “Meow.”
Once he saw that he had their attention now,
he said, “You cows are rather dumb, I avow.
Don’t you know that the humans will allow

“us work animals a long life, whereas the sow,
the chickens, and you cows will soon endow
their table as food. They will eat you, I vow.”
At this news, the brown cow wrinkled her brow.

“So, we cows, the chickens, the hog and the sow
shall all be eaten soon. To the cat’s wisdom I bow.
I shan’t fight our fate; to the inevitable I kowtow.
But now I wonder, how does chicken taste anyhow?”
