A poem written in Rispetto Form about awakening to the truth
Awake my heart, as morning light at last
comes streaming through and overcomes the dark
Awaiting this moment, arise from past.
On this fair day, be sure to leave a mark.
Hold up your head, there’s no reason for shame.
Righteousness and truth are now yours to claim.
Alive again by the blood of the Son,
there’s no more struggle; victory is won.
