Through the seasons,in loneliness.
Loneliness

Each night
I wish upon a star,
yet,
no one ever comes.
No horseman fine,
Nor Knight so bold,
not even the noble bard.

I sit beside the Fountain,
as the water softly flows.
The water changes color,
Yet,still nobody comes.

The leaves begin to fall.
Pumpkins ripen in their fields.
The fires are lit for season's fest.
Yet,still,
Nobody comes.

Snowflakes fall,
And yet I sit,Fingers trailing on the ice.I wish no more upon the stars,
For,still,
Nobody comes,...
