how past turns into regrets
Found so difficult to adjust
Dreams went on to bust
Clean like a kid’s heart
Turned into killer smart

Up was down and was not was
Were put into head these ideas
Given were smoke drink and pill
Jeep to drive and blood to spill

Believed that got what it takes
But was in race with no brakes
Mama sweeps and daddy moans
Neither of them now he owns
