A Country song about losing a loved one
(Verse 1)
She said goodbye, tears in her eyes
Said she needed more than I could provide
I tried to hold on, but she slipped away
Now I'm all alone, lost and astray

(Chorus)
She said goodbye, now I'm on the road to no place
Driving down these empty highways with tears on my face
The memories of her haunt me every mile that I go
She said goodbye, now there's nowhere left to go

(Verse 2)
I miss her touch, her sweet embrace
Her laughter ringing in an empty space
I thought our love would never fade away
But now I find myself here today

(Bridge)
I see her face in every passing town sign
Reminding me of what once was mine
But now she's gone and it's too late
To turn back the clock and change my fate

(Chorus)x2
She said goodbye, now I'm on the road to no place
Driving down these empty highways with tears on my face
The memories of her haunt me every mile that I go
She said goodbye, now there's nowhere left to go

(Tag)
So here I am all alone without a trace
On this endless journey with no destination or space
She said goodbye And now I’m standing here with a tear-stained face
Lost in the abyss On the Road to No Place.
