Hint fiction contest entry. Full plot, 49 words, "credit" and color used, no "said."
I found a curiosity as I sat in my garbage pile. While hanging on the adjacent pile the black velvet Elvis which I'd uncovered the day before, I chanced upon a sandwich and a severed hand. I ate the sandwich only up to the fingers; give me some credit.
