Something I wrote a while ago, and thought it be a good introduction of sorts.
Hello dear strangers,
I come from the lands of ice
And overlong winds,
Wishing to join your company.

Push through obligatory hospitality,
And let's walk through these rivers
Hand in hand.

Clinging onto this tie,
In fear of being undone
And lost without any hope
Of being found.

But in this short period of time,
I'd like to travel with you,
Dear strangers.

I've accepted the future
Rationality had contracted
Before my tragically bright eyes -
Signed with a child's last tear.

But as the falling sun shines
Behind the southern mountains,
The distant stars light our paths.

A toast to the next morning,
Fellow strangers;
A bright green plain is ahead -
Here's to the hope of its eternality...
