An interesting object in the middle of nowhere inspires a photographer ... then a writer.

PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY


Alone and abandoned with no love or care
alongside a road in the midst of nowhere
You caught my eye and with a single click
took center stage in a scenic pic.

And though you are clearly rusted and rotten
I’m just as certain you’ll not be forgotten
For each time I gaze at that photo from then
there you will be ... in my memory again.
