A herd of African elephants carry their 100 year old matriarchs bones with them in grief.
I watched the Elephants weep together

I heard the whales cry

I smelled the forests all burning, on fire

And my soul became afraid

As the birds fell one by one from the sky

And the fish were pulled from the sea

I felt the need to do something

So I knelt and bowed and prayed

But was I really helping the world?

Can one make a difference for all?

Or was this a new way of hiding?

Bowed head and closed eyes cannot see
.
“Stop praying” the voice from everywhere came

“Get up and the change the world”

The first step I made was all that it took

I began by changing me.
