After watching a thunderstorm this morning...
Dawn upon the shadow lands,
Greeted with a jagged flash.
Roll the thunder, hold the sun;
Fall the rain with every crash.
Rage the floods and drown the streets;
Howl the winds, blow down the trees.
Let the tempest smash her pain,
Undoing all of her disdain.
Soon a gentle breeze will flow,
And all the quiet be-stills her soul.
