This is about the heartbreak of loosing the one you truly love.
If only you'd come home
The pain inside would stop
My heart could go on beating
Instead it only drops.

The words you say are shattering
My soul feels like its dead
I don't know if you even care
I wish I knew what was in your head.

Mixed messages confuse me
I don't know where I stand
If only you'd come home to me
So I could hold your hand.

If only you'd come home
You'd see everything's alright
I'd tell you that I love you
And hold you very tight.

Won't you please come home to me.
