This is my blog - I liked the clever title - since my Judaism is a very important part of my life, and though I have changed how I practice it over the years, my belief in God is a major facet of my life. This blog is just about me - and the ways that I feel - they are not necessarily religious in nature - I would love it if you would peruse my blog.  |
| Happy New Year - I have not written in a while on my blog - but maybe this year will be different - I am trying to figure out all the things that I want to do this year - and really working on my writing more seriously is one of them - of course, losing weight, finding a job, and going to the gym are also on the list. |
| I cannot believe that 2009 is almost over - a decade since Y2K - almost a decade since 9/11 - and how the world has changed - one of my resolutions for this upcoming year is to really devote a lot more time to my writing - I would like to re-take the Journey Course @ the New Horizons school - but I am not sure which session I will take it in. |
| I hate this time of year - I am Jewish so I do not get into the Christmas stuff, but I do get very introspective at this time of year - particularly since a new decade will fall upon us - but,... on a bright note - I got an awardicon for one of my pieces - I was not so crazy about it - which is weird - but it was about a subject that I hold dear to my heart. |
| I am very anxious today - my poetry class is over - but now I can work on my freelance poetry which is much harder because I have to motivate myself - but I have a lot of ideas in the works which I will submit to this site - I need a lot of muses = I have been a member of this site for almost 2 years now - so I am not a newcomer with that same exposure - but I would still like to be noticed - anybody have any suggestions? ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
| I am enjoying my poetry life - and have hooked up with as many poetry internet sites as I could - buying a lot of books from Amazon - a less expensive venue - I am trying to learn a lot - there is as I have said, so much to learn - I just wish people would read my stuff - I have input a whole lot of new stuff. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
| I have written a lot of stuff - but have not written it into the site - I will do so soon - November is over - I am glad - I always get really down in November - but.... my Gotham class is great - I have a few more weeks - and then I am done - I wish it could go on forever - why weren't we like that when we were kids - anyway - I will submit my new stuff soon - also, I give my condolences to Larry's family - I do not know who he is - but as a colleague writer he becomes a friend, so... ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
| I have been taking this writing course for a couple of weeks now - I really like the Gotham Writing Program - I am only sorry that I could not take the course that was offered by the academy simultaneously - I realize now that there is so much to learn - and I can not wait to learn it all - it is truly my salvation as one of my poems has attested to - I would like people on this site to read some of my new work that I have entered on to this website = so... | I am sorry that I have not written in a really long time - I have been really busy - I am taking this course @ Gotham Writing School which is fantastic - I am learning sooo much - I did not think that there was so much to learn about poetry - so many new things - It is great - I feel a certain sense of relaxation and peacefullness with this - I have submitted some of my new writings here on the website - which I would like you all to read. |
| I have not posted for a while - I have been so busy - I moved across town - so that has occupied a lot of my time - additionally - the Jewish holidays came up - and those are always a hectic time for me = plus which I am real busy at work - but, no excuse - that being said - I could not devote the proper time to the academy course here @ WDC - so I will have to take it again in the spring - but I had already paid for my course @ Gotham - so... I am really enjoying that - I am learning so much - and meeting so many interesting people. |
