With all the enthusiasm I'm here to blog. I write anything that amazes me.
Thoughts of becoming a writer is compelling me to write something everyday. I can do everything to satisfy this urge. I'm not surprised to discover this urge as it haunted me in my subconscious levels. I have decided that I have to become and stay a writer for rest of my life. No one can stop me on that. For living a writer's life, I have started this blog and I also keep a track of the writing modules. Penning with grip and having a control over words is challenging but nothing compared to the choice of topic and maintaining a focus on the selected topic. Writing swiftly having a focus and force definitely attracts but it only escalates when the focus is consistent and does not waver with swings of mood. When you get into the influence of swinging moods and wavering mind, I just want to get up, dress up and start writing. I tried this for the past few days and I'm amazed to see the results. I feel there's happiness even in depression. As you get deeper and deeper with the words and construction of sentences, the write up blooms like a flower, opening naturally without any coercion.

How to plan my writing?

I wonder if I have to really plan at all! The greatest and the foremost obstruction in writing is shallow knowledge, that does not allow one to proceed further. Getting int the insights by keeping our minds open and constant reading helps to gain that extra zing of knowledge that we crave at. The second important lesson to follow is to comprehend the technical aspects of writing. When you stumble upon writing a new topic, jotting down everything can ease up writing. Writing in air does not add substantially. The powerful words of a good article may give a great inspiration!

This is my first blog. I have tried writing something. Kindly add your thoughts to this so that I can develop further.

Hope you liked it!

The core of my heart is warm and I want to express my love to each one of you. It is because you have given me your bit to me. From all sides I have got help in my life when I needed. I'm grateful utmost to each and everyone who thought of me and was kind enough to support me while I was facing the hardships of my life. You lent your support at various levels of my hardships. The greatest was when m husband lost his kidneys and was to be operated for transplantation. Many came forward to offer financial help. I remember Mr. Mohan, my Brother in law, Mr.Samartha Raghava, my brother and Ms. Ananthlakshmi, Aunt of my husband who were the prime aides. How can we forget Mr.Ramesh and Mr.Susheelendra who provided support in terms of getting food to the hospital and taking care of my husband. I can't even forget the services of Mr.Sampath, who helped my husband in nursing my husband. The command Hospital is a great temple for me and the doctors who treated my husband are Gods. I owe them a lot because they bestowed life on my husband and gave my love. I'm therefore grateful to everyone who helped me in the times of difficulty. My degree of thanks is always less when compared to the helping hand they have extended.

There is an inner voice in all of us that tells us to do certain things. In my opinion we have to listen to this inner voice. Going against it is like not obeying our conscience. Today I read the spiritual letter 'The Voice' by Sophy. This instigated me to writ something about inner voice. My son was working in a retail company as a business head. He was a hardworker and devoted most of his time on his office work. He was very sincere and performed his job correctly. Though he worked so much he was not recognized. His salary was quite a bit when compared to what he studied. He listened to his inner voice, left the retail company and pursued his passion. He was a creative person and wanted to make short video films for various companies. He has studied animation and therefore 'video making' was one of the subject taught in animation. He jumped into this field. Changing the career all of a sudden involves lot of risk, but he wants to try out his creative abilities. Listening to inner voice may involve risk but eventually it pays. My sister was a Direcor of an educational Institution. She heard to inner voice, left such high position and decided to become an enterpreneur. She has taken lot f risk in her life. I'm very certain success is not far away. She will soon become one of the successful enterpreneurs.

Writing everyday is a tedious job. Sometimes you get a subject/topic to write, but, most of the time you are left with no topic. Mind becomes blank and will not understand what to write. Any way I have started today's blog, so I'll end up writing something. After coming in contact with the WDC, I started with poems. Now I'm unable to write a single poem. I have to restart writing some more poems. If I devote more of time on the WDC, I'll be able to produce some poems. I admit that I'm bad at writing prose, but, writing gives a kind of satisfaction. In my blog I,m writing anything and every thing that comes to my mind. Following this way, I'm sure one day i'll write something constructively. Now it's in a piece meal, haphazard and vague. One more important thing for me is to improve my diction. Sometimes I struggle for words. I'll be fighting with words and not find a suitable word. For this I have to read more and more of printed material. Time constraint is there. I have become very busy with the office work, daily chores at home and taking my daughter to dance classes and singing classes. I shall not leave at this, I'll somehow make time to learn more words that are complicated and apt. I feel I write in very simple English. I have to improve my standard of writing. I request all my friends at WDC to go through my blog and suggest me things to make myself better. I make a lot of grammatical mistakes also . Suggest me ways to improve my diction so that I can use better words.

Cheers,

The most prominent in one’s life is his duty. The duty one does towards family comes first. He or she is a son/daughter, husband/wife, brother/sister, uncle/aunty or grandfather/grandmother. Whatever his role in the family is, he has to do it with utmost devotion. The responsibility towards the family never ends. He or she has to look after every need of the children till they stand on their own legs.
What is duty? Duty can be defined as following ones conscience. Our conscience tells us to do so many things. For example it tells us to give a medical aid to the one who is sick in the family. It also asks us to embrace all the difficulties that come to the family and solve it rationally.
The duty should not be limited to the family. It should be extended to the society and nation at large.
We should be a key functionary in the society that we live in.
Duty is different from discipline. Duty is to obey ones conscience. Discipline is to obey the authority.

As we grow older and older we begin to search the truth in life. What is this life for? Why have we come to this world? Am I doing what am I supposed to do?These kind of questions haunt us everyday. Most of the people get oriented towards God and leave the materialistic world.
Our ultimate aim of life is to be in oneness with God or attain Moksha. To attain this moksha every deed that we do counts. We have to be extra careful in our daily conduct. Do the things that are acceptable in the society. Dont harm anyone. That does not mean that you cannot do your job effeciently. Even without harming anybody one can be very efficient in his job. For a family man the primary responsibility is to take care of the family and look after all their needs. One should not be a defaulter at this. The conduct and behavior with others should be cordial. Abusing others, getting into unnecessary fights, speaking ill about others should be avoided. Be kind to others and do atleast one good job a day.
All the relegions in this world speak about all of the above but in different manner. Follow any religion in the world and follow it religiously. No religion tells us to be against other religions.

With a great zing I.m starting today to write something I do not know. I always want to write something special bit I start with a blank mind . The weather is all set for me to write something true, something beautiful, somethine nice and something touching. The nature is all in its pretty colours, the sun is bright, wind is blowing, trees are shivering, flowers are blushing, clouds are over joyous and ready to shower, the ice cream man is trundling his vehicle, the colourful umbrellas are about to open, the leaves are shaking, the ladies are claded with colourful coats, the men have covered themselves with macho jackets, the dogs have moved to the shelters, the vehicles are speeding up and the big rain drops started coming down.

I had a long break in writing the blog. This is because I celebrated Gowri and Ganesha festivals at home. I had to do lot of preparations for the pooja on Wednesday. Thursday was Gowri festival and Friday was Ganesha festival. Pooja was more than elaborate. Moreover I had to cook a variety of dishes for the pooja. Saturday, We immersed the idol of Ganesha in water. Sunday, I had to do the leftover work.
Today I'm very happy because It's the birthday of Writing.com. This is the only site which offers opportunity to write our mind. This site has done a lot many good things to me. I can spend my time reading and writing on this site. It sometime has helped my creative juices flow. I had never even dreamt that I can write a poem. But writing.com made it happen. I owe a great deal to writing.com. It is a wonderful site and it has to grow further strong with more members, more conests, more writings and more gifts. I like the way it encourages by giving merit badges. I love every bit of it.

Everyday I go for a walk with my neighbour. Today while walking she related me a story of a boy who was his son's classmate. This boy, from a poor brahmin family visited my neighbour's house almost everyday. He was very cute and plump to look at. He was intelligent also. His intelligence brought him fame, name and moreover, every body adored him. This boy's father was a contract teacher in a private institution and ran his family with a meagre salary. Mother was a housewife. This boy had a younger brother who studied in IX standard. All of a sudden the father of these children fell ill and was diagnosed with dengue. In a matter of four to five days, the father died. The mother went absconding leaving these young children to their fate. As these children were extra brilliant and very cute to look at, everybody showed their sympathies on the children. The principal of the school called for a meeting and asked if any parents wanted to adopt the children. My neighbour was eager to adopt the elder one, but, other parents discouraged her saying that if something unseeming happens, you will be held responsible. This made her take a back step from adopting. Moreover, the principal took the responsibility and said the children will study in the hostel but whosoever wants to donate for their education they can donate. Lot of donations poured in. The Principal succedded in making the elder one a M.A gold medalist and the younger one an engineer. Till the boy got a gold medal in M.A the elder boy visited my neighbour often. He used to address her as mother and many a time showed interest in staying along with them. But the fear of the Principal (as he was very strict with their studies) did not allow him to stay. Of late this boy has stopped contacting my neighbour and there is no proper response when contacted. One of these days he was seen drinking with a gang of friends. This news reached the principal and he reprimanded him. After this incident he has never returned to hometown and nobody now knows where he stays!

cheers,

This life which God has bestowed on us is full of joy. Why I say this is, we should cultivate a habit in finding happiness with whatever we are doing. Few of the things we really do not like make us unhappy. Take for example getting up early in the morning and doing daily chores may not be that very joyous but it is inevitable as children have to go to school and we should ready them up early in the morning. Here we should develop a habit of being happy. Happiness is from inside. It depends on how you think and how you take life. Every moment can be happy if you have a positive attitude on all aspects of life. When your boss scolds you, think why he has done this. It may be because you have done something wrong or may be that you were right but he did not understand you properly. At both instances one should be happy. If you are at fault rectify your fault or if you are right, forgive your boss. Other things like going for a walk early in the morning, playing with children, teaching them or keeping your house neat and clean brings natural happiness in you. Talking to a friend, sharing, being with the partner, watching favorite shows on TV's also bring happiness. Therefore happiness is seen in every part of your life except if somebody is ill in the family or you ourself is ailing from physical pain. So take all precautions to keep yourself healthy. Health is wealth.

After moving to the spacious house in Mysore, I have often thought of making a garden in front of the house. There is lot of space in front and back of the house. There are Jack fruit, mango, custard apple and curry leaf trees in the back yard of my house. There are jasmines and parijatha in front of the house. Parijatha trees will bear beautiful white flowers with orange stalks. Jasmine gives a heady fragrance. I love these flowers very much. The rest of the space is vacant and I want to plant some vegetables and flower saplings. A gardener approached me saying that he works for a nursery and he can get all the plants that I required. He rooted out all the weeds and went to buy saplings but never returned. So my gardening work is still pending. I'm sure I'll make the garden one day.
