** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **

This treatise is the result of a visit to church 1-18-09, and a song that became the root for the acrostic Worthy Is The Lamb, on 1-19-09 the second acrostic was gelled into the first.

Prompt: "I don't believe in astrology. I'm a Sagittarius and we're skeptical." Sir Arthur C. Clark.

Astrological signs, twelve in a circle.
Someone came up with it at one time.
There is a whole following for this.
Real or not, in my opinion, it's a hit or miss.
Oh to be sure I don't understand it all.
Looking up at the stars, I see God's wonders.
Only thing is others can see further than my tiny eyes.
Gigantic telescopes can see the constellations, the systems, the other planets even.
Yet one thing is certain. Whether astrology is real or not, the important thing is to remember the Creator and His Great Love for mankind.

P.S. I'm a Sagittarius too, but I don't know how to shoot no arrows.

Prompt: "Things turn out best for people who make the best of the way things turn out." John Wooden

The way things turn out is not always the best.
Here in this quote there is a call to make the best of how things come about.
Even sounds like a good ideal, to be sure.

Believe me, it would be best to make the best out of things.
Elevating the mind and spirit to overcome obstacles is good.
Seeing an opportunity open up, even in the midst of a struggle,
Takes the advice of this quote and applies it to life day-by-day.

What is Mr Wooden trying to say in this quote? In my opinion he is saying when life gives you lemons go ahead and make some lemonade. When the world sticks an obstacle in your way, grow in the experience and work your way around it. It may not be easy, it may take some time, but in the end you will look back on the "obstacle" and realize that you have grown because of the experience.

Write a story about the last coin you found on the ground and how it got there.

The last coin I found on the ground was a penny. How it got there I'll never know. But what I call them is pennies from heaven. You see, when I'm jogging the apartment complex, I will inevitably find a penny or 2 or even 3. I give them to Rhonda and add more so she can save up for a trip next year. When I started running, after being diagnosed with T2 Diabetes, I was wanting to find something to improve my health and running became one of the things I do to be healthier.
The coins I find along the way, I thank the Lord for His provision and continue on in my running pattern. There is this one penny that I still haven't been able to get. It's kinda stuck in the tar and I haven't taken the time to dig it out. It's there as I pass it and has now become a marker that tells me I have a little more to go before the second leg of the run starts. It's been over a year now since I started jogging and it's really amazing that no one has dug that little coin out. One day maybe it will be dug up and I'll have to find another marker along my running route.

You are beloved!

I wrote the original version of this tribute to the troops while Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield were going on.
In Belton, Texas a veteran was stationed on a bridge and vowed to remain there until the troops were returned home. I finally got up my nerve to take that original copy and give it to him.
Over the years I have attempted to get it into a card size so I can hand it out to the veterans, or active duty troops I come across.
The background was the view we had in our hospital room when Rhonda received the pacemaker that she has now. It is a wall of crosses and it reminded us then that we were not alone. And serves as the backdrop for this acrostic assuring them that the Lord is watching over them too.
Serving Him by serving you!
