Write a story about the last coin you found on the ground and how it got there. The last coin I found on the ground was a penny. How it got there I'll never know. But what I call them is pennies from heaven. You see, when I'm jogging the apartment complex, I will inevitably find a penny or 2 or even 3. I give them to Rhonda and add more so she can save up for a trip next year. When I started running, after being diagnosed with T2 Diabetes, I was wanting to find something to improve my health and running became one of the things I do to be healthier. The coins I find along the way, I thank the Lord for His provision and continue on in my running pattern. There is this one penny that I still haven't been able to get. It's kinda stuck in the tar and I haven't taken the time to dig it out. It's there as I pass it and has now become a marker that tells me I have a little more to go before the second leg of the run starts. It's been over a year now since I started jogging and it's really amazing that no one has dug that little coin out. One day maybe it will be dug up and I'll have to find another marker along my running route. You are beloved! Copenator out! |
