HISTORICAL POETRY tells about the past, from today back as far as the story takes you, often giving tribute to brave and interesting people.
A place for folks to come in and leave a message for the veterans, and say "thanks"; share a story, poem/prose or whatever. Not to forget the men and women who are serving our country right now! They have caught the torch we have passed on!
This contest challenges you to develop your talent, explore new forms and oil the gears that make your muse tick. You will be inspired, encouraged and equipped to realize your full potential and pursue your dreams.
This weekly contest is for short form poetry. 1st place-- 2,000 gps
This would include haiku, senryu, triolet, cinquain, tanka, limerick, rondelet, octet, quatrain, etc.
THE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THIRD CONTEST WILL OPEN ON THE 2ND OF JANUARY AND CLOSE AT NOON ON THE 31ST. Poetry Old or new, again that's up to you. Awardicons and Gift Points too.
