Dear Heavenly Father, May you be glorified as we conclude this study on the Armor of God. You are so good to us. You have given us all we need to fight the good fight of faith and win. If you are for us, who can be against us? We praise your Holy name! May we put on the whole armor while we stand and fight to defend your good name. I have tried to be very thorough, and have learned some things along the way too. We studied how we need to be strong in the Lord in the power of his might. We took a look at who the enemy is. We studied each piece of the armor of God. We talked about how we should always pray. We went over spiritual teamwork and battle fields. Finally, we learned that if we fear God most, we have nothing else to fear. We talked about why we have to fight throughout the studies. Now I want to touch base on continuing to fight the good fight all the way to the end of our physical life. We have been given all the tools we could possibly need. We are not alone in this fight. We are guaranteed to win. We are guaranteed to win, but we still have to be prepared to fight. Just like you can’t win a game that you don't play, you can't win a battle if you never fight. You can't win a war without winning a battle first. 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. We fight the good fight by remaining faithful to Christ. We put away sin, and take on righteousness. We produce the fruits of the spirit by following Christ. We find our victory in Jesus Christ! https://youtu.be/MN0OJGb2Pjg Romans 8:31-39 says it all well. We have victory in Jesus. We are more than conquerors. If God be for us, who can stand against us? Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Romans 8:31-39 ▼ Greater is he that is in you than he that is the world. 🌎 1 John 4 gives us a guide to try the spirits. This is how we can know a spirit is sent from God or not. If God is in it, it will contain his attributes. 1 John 4:1-8 ▼ We will have trials and tribulations. We will suffer persecution. However, these things are only temporary. Christ has overcome the world and we can too with his help. It is the health and life of our soul and the souls of others that are at steak. We fight and we win through Jesus Christ. John 16:33 ▼ Song: Fight the Good Fight 1. Fight the good fight with all thy might. Christ is thy strength and Christ thy right. Lay hold on life, and it shall be thy joy and crown eternally. 2. Run the straight race through God's good grace; lift up thine eyes, and seek Christ's face. Life with its way before us lies; Christ is the path, and Christ the prize. 3. Cast care aside; lean on thy guide. God's boundless mercy will provide. Trust, and thy trusting soul shall prove Christ is its life, and Christ its love. 4. Faint not nor fear: God's arms are near. God changeth not, and thou art dear. Only believe, and thou shalt see that Christ is all in all to thee.
