There are varying degrees of difference between
quitting and not doing anything, though
ultimately
the same because of outcome, and
if you had given up on me,
even though not trying,
I would know and feel hurt
just the same.

just something that bubbled up while listening to Fisher, yet again. I'm as breakable as any; as hard as people try to see the cracks and fissures form, they're on the inside, not trying to get out.
