#28 Past, Present, Future
The past is gone;
Do not dwell there -
Greet the dawn
With a smile and a prayer.

Live for today*,
It is all we are given;
We are not meant to stay,
With goals we are driven.

With the future in mind,
A cautious stance take;
What shall we find,
With the choices we make?

Write a poem about the
past, present (*today), future
in that order.
(3 quatrains, 12 lines)
