Promptly Poetry Challenge 2022/2023

The earth, rich in minerals
The soil gives way
Allowing me the pleasure
Of working her
To bring forth an abundance

Flowers of all colors and sizes
Hanging baskets to bloom
Food stuffs - all kinds imaginable
Spaced in their little rows

I long for the tranquility
That working the soil gives
The peace I get sowing

It's a wonderful therapy
Playing in the dirt

I miss this so much, especially the sunflowers
