I belonged to Future Teachers of America in high school. For the life of me, I don't remember a thing we did in that group. Did we discuss anything about being a teacher? What is the job like?

I went to college for a time, then got married and had children. I never wanted to be a teacher after that.

I know the art teacher at the local high school. She is considering retiring next year, or perhaps the year after. She'll have 19 years served next year. The reason to retire? Well, parents, for one. She is annoyed by the parents mostly. And the fact that this year she has 108 students in her art classes. Her classroom is setup to ideally handle at most 80.
