Number 22 - Go For A Ride Day

I wish I could go for a ride. We don't have our own car yet. Egads. It's been since May. Since I hit that stupid **** deer near Gardiner. It ruined our Subaru, our day, our lives. And since then we've been borrowing vehicles.

Currently hubby is borrowing a beater VW. The previous vehicle was an okay Dodge truck. But that we had to return on November 1. I don't trust this VW. It didn't start the other day when we started out for Meals on Wheels. It took some finagling but finally started.

So I won't take this car anywhere. I won't ride in it long distances. I am being stubborn. I want the car we bought in May. The car we own and have licensed and are paying insurance on. The car that is currently in VA being inspected by my son-in-law.

Okay, I am trying to work through the anger. I truly am. Perhaps I am being unreasonable, tut, it is hard. Good thing I can walk to everything I need in my town. And I call on friends to take me to Billings if I need to go for appointments.

So I need to get through this holiday time, always hard for me. Then I need to get through the winter. Then if we still don't have our car by the year's anniversary of that accident, well...I don't even want to think that far ahead.
