| I. Alice's Evidence 2. Unimportant Things. As the new year begins, consider at least one thing you considered too important in the past. What makes it so unimportant now? Scrapbooking. I loved scrapbooking. I scrapbooked pictures of my trips to Lake Michigan, Holland Michigan, The Christmas Store, Florida trip with pictures of my sister. I just met my sister over twenty years ago and I loved being with her and getting to know her. We went to St. Augustine, Florida and I took pictures of the lighthouse and my husband took pictures of her and I. I took pictures of Disneyland and I scrapbooked all these pictures I took of these trips. I collected pictures of Dark Shadows characters, have autographed pictures of Lara Parker, Angelique of Dark Shadows, Kathryn Leigh Scott, got emails from Denise Nickerson and put them in the scrapbook. I had Dark Shadows cards and I scrapbooked all of them. I scrapbooked pictures of my son's Wedding in the Smoky Mountains. I scrapbooked pictures of my parents Wedding anniversary Party. I scrapbooked pictures my son had of Alice Cooper. I scrapbooked all my son's baby pictures, school pictures, the Prom he went to. I scrapbooked pictures of my family and friends. I got autographs of famous people and their pictures like Glen Campbell, Lee Majors, The Cast of Passions, Barbara Fairchild and some other famous people. I scrapbooked an album for my father from when he was in The Air Force and he was so happy. Now, he's gone. I scrapbooked pictures of every little event. I had project books of Disney Characters and other project books of stickers, brads, Cricket Cut Outs. I was scrapbooking everything. I have 25 Scrapbooks. I even one of Frozen with pictures, the Physical Merit Badges The Storymistress made of Elsa. The album has Frozen characters on it. I loved scrapbooking and then after Covid, I retired from my job. I just lost the desire to scrapbook. I don't go in long trips and I don't take pictures. Just on my phone now. I loved scrapbooking. I took classes and have a Degree in Scrapbooking but that part of my life is over and it is no longer important. It was a great hobby. I quit taking pictures at Christmas because Family members died off. My son and his wife in Oregon. My health and arthritis, I have no energy to do anything. Maybe someday, after my knee heal from surgery. Funny, how things in life change. 417 Words  |
