Week 31 - A Wooden Bridge
Down the way is a wooden bridge
newly built and painted;
Over the river it stands
sturdy and strong.
Crossings are easier and safer
for those who travel to town.

There are those who prefer
the banks of the river;
For fishing, playing, splashing.
A cool and refreshing break.
Meanwhile, the bridge watches over them
It's beams ever steady.
